D E S : R E S are basically an internal refurbishment company operating in the Leeds York Harrogate triangle specialising mainly in the domestic sector. We are a close knit team and have all the trades at our disposal, many of us capable of multiple trades. Our bread and butter is building works, plastering, rewires, flooring, tiling and kitchen/bathroom installations. We still take on smaller jobs like the odd bit of skimming or fitting skirting boards to keep us busy. In general terms here are some examples. Rip outs Removal of carpets curtains, tiles, flooring, fitted kitchens and bathrooms. Removal of partition walls, radiators, staircases, removal of load bearing walls with RSJ insertion following building regulations. First Fixing and full rewires. Gas, water, electrics, drainage are all taken care of, even under floor heating if you want it. We will walk round the property with you and mark out were all the sockets and sanitary ware, appliances and radiators are going to make sure they are correct to the plan. Building work. From laying drains to stud wall creation, opening up load bearing walls, filling in or opening up windows, levelling floors, building second floors, staircases, stud wall creation. To Kitchen and bathroom and bedroom installations. Plastering All things involved in plastering, that’s dry lining, dot and dab, bonding, skimming of walls and ceilings, damage repairs, patch plastering and stud wall creation. Second Fixing Everything involved with the penultimate phase of a renovation including connecting all appliances, plugs sockets, radiators, sanitary ware, skirting, doors etc Tiling, Flooring and decorating As the house begins to take shape there is nothing that makes it look like the “real macoy” until lighting and decoration comes into its own. We take care of high quality supply and installation of flooring and natural, ceramic or porcelain tiles. Densagging The horrible bit! No one likes this part that’s why builders always walk off at this point. We don’t! Our sister company Fast Fix Handyman just gobble it up with a big smile on their face too!
